Local "On-Island" Contact Services   $99/month

(Does not include management of cleaners, guests, money or reservations)

Hawaii SB519 otherwise known as Act 204, replaced Act 326 and now requires that an off island owner/landlord must designate a local on island agent to act on the owners behalf. $500/day penalties and "any persons" listed as your agent can be held liable for these same penalties. (See Sect 237D-4)

Maui On-Island Contacts is a company, not an individual! Unlike your house keepers, neighbors or local friends your thinking of designating, we're here as long as you own your unit.  We've been in business for over 10 years, have an actual office in Lahaina, we hold a condo hotel operator’s license from the State of Hawaii, we’re insured with a 3 million dollar license through State Farm and we are available 24 hours a day; 7 days a week for your guests. \

Service include:

  • 24 hours a day contact
  • Our "grab n go" Emergency booklet
  • In unit, colored Registration Certificate and display stand
  • Permission to use of our company name Maui On-Island Contacts on your rental agreements and ad's

Service limits:
  • 4 phone calls a month
  • Does not include management of cleaners, guests, money or reservations
  • We’re here for you simply in case of emergencies and to comply with Act 204
  • (For 25%, we do provide full management)

Process:

  • Contact us (Click Here)
  • We'll send you our 3 page informational document we'll need to use to assist your guests.
    (We'll enter this information into our database and we’ll set up a time to stop by and take a video and some photos of you unit.  We’ll use this information to help your guest quickly and minimizes our contact with you. Examples of information we’ll need include WIFI internet passwords, parking space numbers, property manager name and number, electrical panel location, hidden key area etc.

Additional Fees:

  • A one time, $75 initial set up fee (covers the cost of the registration certificate and display stand).  If you change any of your contact or tax info, we'll have to generate a new one.

Billing:

  • We require a 1-year commitment billed in 6-month increments (2x/year)

Issues you may not be aware of…

  • Stiff penalties: for non compliance:  $500/day (1st infraction), $1000/day (2nd) and $5000//day (3rd)
  • Anyone you list as your agent can be held liable for these same penalties. (See Act 204, sect 237D-4)
